Why we say consciously warm? Because we really want to emphasize the importance of consciousness. All our clothes are being made in fair and sustainable conditions. No child labour, human exploitation or bad conditions. We employ more than 350 women in Peru who are working in fair conditions and are being paid fair wages. This way we create an opportunity for them to earn money and live a better life. Also, we created daily childcare facilities for their children. Meaning that while our ladies are working on our beautiful hand-knitted clothes, they know that their children are being taken good care of.

On top of that, to support our incredible team in Peru we are organising our LN LIONS FOR PERU charity event on Sunday 11 June. All the funds that we collect this evening will be used to support our knitting ladies in Peru. More specifically we will invest in the prevention of Cervical cancer. Also, we will make an investment in our child care and better education in Ayacucho, Peru. But to do so, we need your help. That’s why we invite you all to this event. This way we also hope to inspire other fashion brands to work in human-friendly conditions. Therefore our shoutout to fashion revolution. This is a global movement calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry. They want to unite the fashion industry and ignite a revolution to radically change the way our clothes are sourced, produced and purchased.
