The life of a full time entrepreneur and being a mommy of two sweet little babies isn’t always that easy. However it is very important to me that I can be a good parent for Lucy and Lily. So I try to combine these two as best as I can. I consciously chose not to take my children to daycare because I want to miss as little as possible of their childhood. Hardly left the house in 4 weeks now, cocooning like a pro! I find myself breastfeeding, changing diapers, making food, cleaning, … non stop. Luckily, thanks to my parents-in-law I have some help during the week.
A PRECIOUS THING CALLED TIME
Staying at home during these cherished moments means that I have a tough schedule. The days are very long since I can work on fewer standard hours. With the arrival of sweet Lily I have to search for balance again. Especially since my husband is also a full time entrepreneur. Time has become a very precious concept.
Every day is a challenge to get all the work done for LN Knits. Certainly in combination with taking care of the children. Yet, having both little ones around me all day makes me the happiest and richest girl alive.
Although I am currently working on reduced strength, I do not have to worry. I have a great team behind me who work hard to ensure that everything goes well.
All my love,
Ellen
