Finally, I made it! It was quite a trip I must say…
I booked my ticket with KLM and apparently it is a normal procedure to “overbook” a flight. And so yes, my seat was overbooked! There was a chance that I wasn’t able to join this flight and in that case I was obliged to take another flight, with another flight agency, and with 2 or more stops. That was not going to happen ;-)! So communicative and persuasive I can be I managed to get myself an “ecomomy +” seat, this means more leg space, comfortable traveling. Great! The flight itself was very relaxing, good food, nice people, etc…
After 12h of flying I finally arrived in Lima, Peru, where I am staying at Bella Casa Peru for the coming 4 nights. Lovely little B&B in Miraflores, Lima. I even went for a morning jog near the coastline, very impressive! So now today I’ll be heading down to exclusive Peruvian yarn manufacturers such as Mitchell, in search of the perfect Alpaca yarn for the LNBeanies collection. Afterwards I’ll be treating myself with a lovely ceviche dish with a local Peruvian friend I met on the plane yesterday! So busy and very excited day ahead!
Adios!

I have already travelled several times from Belgium to Lima, Perú via Amsterdam by KLM and I never have had the overbooking problem, it is strange you had it on your first trip…
And it is pretty nice to know that you re staying in the same hotel where my already husband -belgian one- stayed the three times he was in Lima visiting me. In fact it is a very cozy place, with good service and nice breakfast 🙂
Enjoy your days in our beautiful city and veel succes with your perfect alpaca yarn searching…
