It was about time that we picked up our little ‘LN Fans in the spotlight’-series. So let’s get right into it and introduce Marijke.
Marijke is the wifey of Christophe or as she calls him Mr Hubbie, her true love. She is a mommy of two fierce young ladies: Pauline and Renée, but also stepmom of Emile and Jules. Family is very important to Marijke, that’s why she is taking a little break from her work in HR and Recruiting. This way she can take care of her family, her youngest daughter in particular.
Marijke is a real foodie and fashionista. She loves to cook, most of the time healthy meals which is something she pays close attention to. She is even planning on launching a blog about this topic, so stay tuned for some yummy recipies of Marijke! When I asked her how she got to know LN Knits she told me that she actually got to know our brand via Ellens ‘LN Fairfood’ book. But because she is a fashionista at heart it did not take long for her to fall in love with our knits as well!
When I met Marijke in our #lnknitsflagshipstore for a little talk and photoshoot it became clear that she really is a die hard LN fan! It was a very difficult job to pick her favourite LN item, this because she just loves them all so much! “That’s a very hard question, one that is almost too hard to make. But if I have to choose I would go for the Jauntie Jackie dress! Please please, bring this one back next collection! And of course I can’t forget about the Sweet Sophie and the Zippy Zelda.”.
Never ending wishlist..
We all know the struggle right? New collection is in store and we have to choose our favourite pieces because we just can’t buy it all. Bummer! Same for Marijke. “I like literally everything, so it is very hard to choose in which pieces I want to invest. A few items that are on top of my list are the Off White Adorable Annie and a pretty Summer scarf in Candy Red”.
Biggest fan!
Just like a lot of us, Marijke loves the fact that LN pieces are timeless and basic. Each piece can be worn in so many different ways, from a sporty look to a classy look, it’s all possible. A funny thing she noticed about our knits is that they actually adjust to your body temperature. “I’m never too cold or never too hot, it’s like they adjust to my body temperature. Truly amazing!”.
LN Knits is brand that speaks to many people she says. When she is wearing one of our items there is always someone that compliments her on her outfit. “Even the very picky people that don’t really have an opinion about fashion have complimented me when I was wearing a LN knits item.” Looking great by doing good, just how we like it. But the most important reason why she is such a fan of LN knits is because of the story behind the brand. “Fair and sustainable, what do you want more?”.
