Allow us to introduce you to one of our LN Knits ambassadors, Lieve, a sporty 30-year-old and mother of two boys, Finn (5) and Sun (3). Lieve is a part time content marketeer, which she combines with her own business. She’s passionate about anything that has to do with sports, travelling and cooking. Lieve is definitely not made to sit still and recently has obtained her certificate to become a personal trainer. Apart from that she’s also finishing up a yoga teacher training, which she definitely plans to use in the future. A real busy bee, as you can say, but that’s the way she likes it.

A while ago, a friend of hers was wearing a beautiful red scarf. When she tried it on herself, she fell in love with it. “I immediately noticed how soft it was and didn’t itch thanks to the alpaca yarn. When I went to look up the brand and read the beautiful story behind it, I was hooked. Up until five years ago, there weren’t that many brands that were engaged in fair fashion and the word was mainly associated with “geitenwollensokken”, as we say in Dutch.”

According to Lieve, LN Knits has clearly made a statement: fair fashion and stylish yet honest clothing can go hand in hand perfectly.
“Not only the way the items are produced by women in Peru who earn a fair wage, but also the elegance of the knitwear pieces, the colors and the softness, are reasons why this brand is a perfect fit for me.”
Lieve loves to play around with outfits, so her all time favourite is her Adorable Annie Cardigan in Soft Pink. “I combine it with so many looks: dresses, a pencil skirt, baggy jeans or even skinny jeans. It’s a timeless piece.”
But not only Lieve is a big fan of the brand, her boys are also addicted to soft and warm knitwear. “When Finn was still a baby, he got his very first hat and scarf from LN. It was an ocher yellow color, which suited him extremely well! The boys don’t wear anything else but LN during the winter months.” And in summer, the Kids Sunhats are a great alternative. Although Finn stole his mother’s sunhat during this photoshoot, haha!
“An LN Knits piece is more than a beautiful knitwear piece in which you feel pretty and cozy. It’s about paying a fair price to a beautiful brand that makes sure that the women behind the clothing receive an honest income.”
