Yesterday my traveling buddy & very talented photographer Griet Hendrickx arrived after, as well, 24h of traveling! Happy to have her here! As mentioned before Griet is traveling on behalf of LN|Andes with me through Peru and especially to Ayacucho where she will make a beautiful documentary of my work there. From tomorrow on will be on the road for a week, enjoying all the beautiful, yet touristic, sites Midland Peru has to offer. In order for my dear Griet to deal with the jetlag, we decided to take it easy today. So yes, we went for another stroll through Miraflores, another frozen fruit juice and another lovely healthy lunch. We chatted about everything and nothing and mostly just enjoyed the beautiful scenery while going through our 2,5week Peru-planning. We’re so excited!

Tomorrow we head to Cusco with a very early flight (8AM). Cusco is our first stop in the breath-taking Andes and its elevation is around 3,400m.  Curious to see if the altitude sickness can tackle LN! Can’t wait to spot the very first Alpaca’s! Speaking about Alpaca’s, me and Griet just had a huge bout of laughter. We found out that her boyfriend actually kind of looks like an alpaca… More info soon! Hihi…

Ok, back to LN|business. Couldn’t catch my sleep last night since I was again way to excited about the new 100% baby Alpaca yarn. I was planning on ordering approx. 120kg, but I think I might go for even more, namely 220 kg, so I can offer my beloved LNBeanie fans 12 colors instead of 9.  Besides the basic color such as light grey, white, beige, etc… LN|Beanies needs to be spot on the trends regarding color pallet. There is no better person to ask than Antony Hartmann from my favorite shop Bluepoint in Brasschaat. According to him the 3 colors of next Winter will be bottle green, warm Bordeaux and rust. You’ll find these beauties on my LN|beanies website soon! Which colors are your favourite? Btw, next Winter you will also find my LN|Andes collection in the Bluepoint store in Brasschaat & Knokke as well.

Off for now! Travelling buddy Griet is passed out at 8.00pm, I’m still enjoying a nice bowl of fresh pineapple while updating my blog and while drawing up the rough planning of the production of the 100% baby Alpaca yarn & production of the LN|Beanies. Still a lot of work to be done: I like!

Nighty night,

LN
